It certainly was. Totally unexpected and very real. Ripped up some trees, knocked a wall or two down then carried on out to sea. Paper reported a yacht being thrown 100 metres out of sea and onto land. The weather this year has been seriously weird.

as scary as the experience was it looks amazingly beautiful… but ya.. scary. stay safe!

Mother Nature – no words – except I am not looking forward to Nat seeing this… she is going to be dancing around excited at the thought of seeing with her own eyes, something this magnificent in the Caribbean next month…

To paraphrase an old expression, the devil is in the preposition. Looking at this magnificent site is indeed pretty awesome, and there’s space on our balcony for Nat to dance her heart out as she does just that. Looking into this magnificent sight was a lot less fun! However, it seems to have blown all vestiges of unsettled weather away – it is hot, hot, hot now!
